I have always been a bit afraid of going to the dentist. Fortunately I have good teeth so I only have to have my teeth cleaned twice a year and not worry about the real serious business. So this story caught my eye when it came across my Google Reader. I cringe even thinking about patronizing a dentist office set up like this. I would think a warning sign would have been the next door business, Courtesy Scrap Metals. I guess if you are poor and without any dental insurance, you are a target for operators like this. He claimed he was licensed in Mexico, but the setup of his office sure does not impress as professional in any way.
As a kind of funny aside, the Google Adsense box on the page pulled an ad for “High Quality Dental Work in Tijuana – Save 70%”. I think I’ll pass on that offer too.

I have always been a bit afraid to visit the dentist too but had to go to one last year to get my wisdom tooth extraction. Luckily it was not such a bad experience.
