I know a lot of people have trouble with milk. I drink some, but it has to be lactose free, and organic. Conventional milk has too big a possibility of containing hormones and antibiotics. Plus so many of the milk cows are so unhealthy. I read somewhere that there is often some blood in milk from unhealthy cows. And yes Steve, the claim of it helping to maintain a healthy weight seems dubious at best. But the facts can be manipulated and interpreted to say just about anything you want.

hi Will, I support any group that encourages people to achieve and then maintain healthy weight, which one should do through eaing right and excercising, not fad diets. But I don't understand the part about "drinking milk", and I didn't see any proof behind the claims that it helps maintain a healthy weight. The funny thing is the study is about "low fat or fat free milk", but then they just say that you should drink milk (notice the "low fat or fat free" is gone)... I say if you want to loose weight or keep your weight down, make most of your drinking a zero calorie beverage that's been around forever (it's called water). ~ Steve

Very interesting point, I would love to see the studies on the benefits of drinking milk, my wife can't handle milk for various reasons, and one of my daughters is lactose intolerant.
