This Sunday I realized I never answered the question posed in the Search of the week on November 8th. Now Anna did comment on the post, but with no guess as to what the searcher was looking for. I am surprised Steve did not venture a guess, he is usually spot on with that type of question. Anyway, without further delay, here is the answer…. Apparently there is some sort of raging debate going on in the world about whether hand sanitizer should be used before you milk your goat. Now I have written many times about hand sanitizers and a few times about goat meat. But I sure know nothing about the debate over milking a goat. Never-the-less I will take the Google search results anyway they come.
Now just for fun, let’s take a poll:

Is “milk your goat” some type of euphemism? If so, then yes. Yes, I do.
hi Will,

I guess I missed your original post on this, though I don’t think I would have figured out that it was related to milking goats. I guess the debate you mentioned that is ranging around the world is raging without me.
If I through in my opinion, I would think that alcohol based hand sanitizer is NOT the best thing to use before milking a goat, and that plain old hot water and soap would be better. But I have no goats here to milk…

Hi JD – I am so not going there!
Hi Steve – Finally one that would have stumped you! I am not sure about the specifics, alcohol/non-alcohol etc. I did ask someone I know that has several goats but they don’t milk them.
