All of the search phrases listed in my Google Analytics or on theWordPress Stats page are typically fairly short, 6 or 7 words at most. As I know people often search for long groups of words, I always assumed that the search engines just cut off the search phases in the statistics. This week I found the following search listed on my Google Analytics page, the longest by far of any of the approximate 500 searches listed. Maybe people in general really do use short search phrases. Or maybe this one just slipped through Google without being cut off?
“I am often wondering if you leave a room for five minutes or less and then return, is it better to turn the light off when you leave or keep it on until you return?”
And here is the post this searcher landed on.
