This week I had several identical searches with an unusual twist. Normally a search phrase is not something that perfectly matches a post. Maybe as the number of posts climb on a site, this become more common, but I don’t know if I have seen it here before. Anyway 7 people used the following search the land on this post. Note the perfect match of post title and search. Now that is SEO done right!
“how to eat less to lose weight”

Hey Will,
I clicked through to the post and with all the good content and 41 comments (!) I can see why it’s popular. It also addresses a problem that many of us have.
Still, the statistical odds of 7 people searching for that EXACT seven word phrase seems, well, very surprising. ~ Steve, the trade show guru

Hey Steve – I just checked and there were 5 more today. I have seen this before and here is my theory. Maybe there is an article or news story that says something like “how to eat less to lose weight”. Some people then search online to find out more and happen to come to my post by the same name. When you think of that happening, it seems less odd.
…just get a smaller spoon, smaller dish and you are set, lol. That was funny one. Anna
