This week’s search, “can you eat an unlimited amount of soy burgers and still lose weight”, is a question I have honestly never considered and, is an example of why I have said many times, I could not possible make these searches up. I really don’t know the answer to this question, or what post they landed on, or even why you would want to eat an unlimited number of soy burgers. But, given the tendency of large quantities of soy to produce “windy” conditions around back, I hope this person is not an acquaintance of any of you fine readers!
Hope you all are enjoying fine Labor Day weekend barbecues… but for the sake of the visiting relatives, just go easy on those soy burgers.

Hi Will,
I didn’t know that too much soy could have “side effects”, but I’ll keep that in mind, especially since we’re going to a BBQ this evening and they may be serving veggie burgers.
As to the search, it is funny, but it also seems that people are always looking for that “miracle food” that has calories but the calories don’t really count. I have yet to discover it. About the only “miracle food” I know of like that is PLAIN fresh veggies, like carrots, broccoli, celery, etc (that are NOT dipped in ranch dressing or coated with butter). You can eat UNLIMITED amounts of fresh veggies and I’m guessing you’ll never gain weight from them…

Will … I think in general you can loose weight if you eat the same thing over and over [me saying this only] – how about the Subway guy! Anna
PS that would be just little too much soy for me. Anna

Hi will,
It seems that someone wants to make a guiness record of eating Soy Burgers.
