WE don’t seem many turkeys out this time of year. During the summer they were roaming the streets flying on roof tops and roosting high above in the trees. But lately nary a one to be seen. Think maybe they know to make themselves scare this time of year???
I hope they are safely in the wood too.

Hi Will,
Thanks for visiting my WW-post. To answer your question:
Yes, the photo of the overfull dirty laundry basket is ours! This is what I do all the time every single day. I always have lots of laundry to do for our family of two adults and two children. But I’m sure many families have even more to wash and perhaps poorer equipment to do it with. I have a washing machine and a dryer that work for me. So I am fortunate.
Best wishes,
Anna

Happy Thanksgiving! I am going to have a massage after this stressful family trip.
Well, if this isn’t the perfect post for this particular day, I don’t know what is! We have wild turkeys where I live, too. Usually they don’t come too close to houses, but one day a wild turkey strolled right through our garden — scared the bejeezuz out of our poor cat!
Happy Thanksgiving.

Great shot. Maybe they run a lot to keep themselves lean so they won’t be good eatin’.
As for the paper clips, they’re in downtown Colorado Springs.

I hope for their sake that they dodged the Thanksgiving Day “bullet.”
We recently had a Turkey in Northern New Jersey that managed to get away. “Tessie” took to hanging out at a toll booth on the NJ Turnpike. I think that she was taken away to a safe place.
Very cool shot, looks like they are getting ready to do a dance, lol. Happy Thanksgiving Will.
