Beautifully composed and shot! I love the bright red against the shades of green.

hi Will,
The page loaded a little slow and I scrolled down before the picture came up, which meant I saw the bottom of it before I scrolled back up to see the flower. There is a dark shadow/spot between the leaves that looks like the eye of a giant cat (tiger) staring back at me. Don’t know if you ever noticed that or can see it, but I think it’s cool.
Now if I could only get the song from Rocky, Eye of the Tiger, out of my head!

Thanks everyone. This one Calendula thinks it is spring, I guess. I have a bunch of these that reseed themselves every year.

Steve- I read your comment and thought “he must be into the Thanksgiving wine a day early”. Then I scrolled back up till only the bottom 1/3 of the photo was showing and the eye of the tiger jumped right out at me! Another example of why I like your comments so much. Always something interesting and unique to say. Thanks!

Hi Will,
LOL! Thanks for making me laugh! No early Thanksgiving wine here… maybe a little early Thanksgiving scotch. And I think it just went up my nose from laughing so hard! :)
