dogs are so loyal. Sometimes I wonder what’s going through their minds at times like that.

My dog is the same way. She’s always happy to see me.

I’m always amazed at how my dog can hear a car door shutting in the driveway from the back of the house. She’s always thrilled that we have company. So far, no one has shown up that we wouldn’t welcome into our home so I haven’t a clue if she is a good watch dog or not! But it sure makes me feel good when she’s happy to see me coming through the door.

Happy Wordless Wednesday.

Nice shot. He looks very focussed on someone or something and almost (to me)… maybe someone talking to him from the position of his ears. Anyway, don’t know why I’m speculating on that. Cool photo.

These are the questions running through my mind.

Thanks for all the comments! She is 16 or 17 years old and will lay there like that for a long time, sometimes even falling asleep with her nose resting on the sill. She is often waiting for my 13 y.o. daughter, but will sometimes sit there just watching the driveway for any activity.
