  5. seems like our little reptile is waiting for his close-up shot… this is a great photo… and you have a sharp eye to see them (what with their color, they can easily be taken for small twigs)!

  31. Thanks for all the comments! And Bob - No, no farm. lol. I see many reptiles when hiking around here in the summer. Snakes, all kinds of lizards and the occasional turtle. I call this one the fence lizard, but I am sure it has a more official name.

    They are skittish, but if you are patient and motionless, they can’t seem to resist taking a peek to see if you are still there. That is what this one did.
