Wordless Wednesday 7-02-2008

Smoke from the California wildfires one hundred plus miles to the south has given us dramatic views of the sun and colored the earth a warm shade of red.

  3. The smoke sure makes the sky look interesting – and kind of eerie.

  7. Hope the smoke doesn’t bother you too much. I remember it from our fires here in October when our house burned down. The smell is still in some of my boxes.

    Really lovely photos.

  29. Your photos are lovely. Amazing how something like smoke can cause such beautiful scenery. We moved to Northern California in August of 1987, when there were a lot of fires burning and I remember being so in awe of how red the sunsets were.

    Thanks for dropping by. :D
