oohh! this is just lovely! i love the way the natural light focuses on the flower, giving it a very subtle glow… and those antlers hanging down makes the flower look like a very “organic” chime… i love the composition…the color contrast… everything!!!
This shot does remind me of the fall … that summer is nearly finished. The color has a cooler aspect to it, and the flower being almost past the peak of bloom does send out those signals to me.

It is a wild lily from a hike a while ago. I did think about waiting until closer to the end of October to use it, but now I will just have to come up with a another one themed for then.
