Monday Miscellany

by Will on September 15, 2008

This weekend I spent a fair amount of time getting some late season produce out of the garden and into the freezer.  I made a large batch of tomato puree that can be used for cooking throughout the winter.  I also processed and froze a bunch of different peppers that can be easily grabbed and used in a variety of dishes.  Maybe I will post an article on the process I used for both of those.

I have been very busy with a new “day” job that is seriously limiting my time researching and writing online.  Hopefully I will get things organized and concentrated on this site so my articles will still be regularly posted.  I do anticipate a slight lowering of the recent monthly average number of posts but other than that, no major changes.  If any of you regular readers don’t already subscribe to email notifications of new posts, that is a good way to know when a new post goes up without having to keep checking the site itself.  I have moved the link to email subscriptions to the top of the left sidebar, right below the “Recent Posts” section.
