Looks like my neighborhood.. Just yesterday the kids were at the playground with about six deer eating just a few feet away.. I have pictures of them in the front yard too..

What a tiny deer! And very quite. Nice picture.
I saw a skunk in our backyard just after sunset two nights ago. First time I ever saw one in the yard, and now I think I know what has been ripping up tuffs of grass at night (it was hopping around on the lawn and pawing at the grass, looking for bugs and worms I think). What really amazed me about the skunk (other that how beautiful it was) was how BIG it was. I think it was bigger than your deer. ~ Steve

That’s funny, Anna! After reading your comment I had to look at the photo to see what you were talking about. I am not really a car person other than needing one to get around. The one I drive most is a 20 year old Toyota Corolla!
Hey Steve I bet you have grubs in the lawn. A skunk is great organic control though. Much better than some nasty chemical that would probably kill the earthworms and robins also!
